Business Buzz: Why don’t they understand me?

6 March 2018 | 8:00 am - 9:00 am

In so many environments, people from many backgrounds and experiences are brought together and are “magically” expected to communicate effectively.  A really big ask, especially when even in our own family we are not always understood.  Little wonder then, that organisations are constantly being handicapped due to poor communications.

In this highly interactive, content rich and entertaining workshop presented by Gerald Richards, 3x5x7, you’ll be able to:

> LOQ (listen-observe-question) on to the other party

> Check your listening skills

> Know the communication cycle

> Determine which of the two types of questions you ask

> Recognise the importance and methods of giving and receiving feedback.

This session is especially relevant for business owners and others who have to talk about or make presentations on their product and services to grow their enterprise.

So join us for a fun, high impact and relaxing 60 minutes to learn from your peers and answer the question “Why don’t they understand me?”
