Roundtable discussion on opportunities for economic growth in WA

With Shadow Treasurer Angus Taylor MP and Senator Dean Smith

Members of the Stirling Business Association are invited to join Angus Taylor MP, the Shadow Treasurer, and WA Senator Dean Smith, the Assistant Shadow Minister for Competition, Charities and Treasury, for a roundtable discussion to share their experiences of local business.

As inflationary pressures persist, labour shortages continue to constrain business growth, and cost of living pressures impact family budgets, Angus Taylor and Dean Smith are keen to hear first-hand experiences from businesses, and to share their views about opportunities for economic growth in WA.

Angus Taylor is the Shadow Treasurer and leads the Coalition’s Economic and Treasury Team in Opposition. Elected to Parliament in 2103 he was promoted to the Coalition Government’s Ministry in various roles including Cities and Digital Transformation, Industry, and Energy and Emissions Reduction.

Dean Smith is the Assistant Shadow Minister for Competition, Charities and Treasury and is a member of the Coalition’s Economic and Treasury Team. As a WA Senator he is a strong champion for WA and was an early campaigner for GST reform and a key proponent of the WA’s GST deal.
