Website Basics

16 November 2016 | 9:30 am - 12:30 pm

If your business does not have a website you are missing out on one of the most important marketing tools available.

Consumers don’t always buy online, but they do use the internet to research and compare products and services. If your business doesn’t have a website then you will be missing out on customers.

Website Basics is a practical workshop that describes the main concepts you need to understand before you design and build a website yourself or contract a professional developer. This workshop is designed for small business operators who do not have a website, or those who have one but want to better understand how it works.

Your presenter:

Mark Kostner is a workshop presenter for the Small Business Development Corporation, specialising in topics relateimage002d to the online environment. His easy presenting style and depth of knowledge of the business and online worlds help to make his subject matter easy for the lay person to understand.  With more than 25 years of business development experience, including running his own businesses, Mark specialises in growing and organisations through structured systemisation using online processes to grow sales.  His business experience includes turning a failing import company around and starting a successful online direct sales venture.

Stirling Business Association has partnered with Small Business Development Corporation and Business Station to offer the Stirling business community and our members the opportunity to up-skill and learn new things that are useful to building and running a successful business.
