Commercialisation Bridge Grant WA

Funding for WA small enterprises and startups to help them become sustainable and scalable

How much is available?

Matching grants of between $50,000 to $200,000 are available.

Overview

Funding may be used for projects or items that develop:

  • product readiness (product testing and validation, laboratory verification, machining and tooling etc)
  • team readiness (hiring experienced C-suite personnel, developing an advisory board etc)
  • IP readiness (legal and other professional advice, protection of intellectual property etc)
  • commercialisation readiness (innovation management and consulting services export readiness etc).

Charge Up Workplace EV Charging Grants WA

This program provides organisations with co-funding to help them with the costs of installing EV charging equipment at their workplace.

How much is available?

Overview

The types of charging situations expected to be funded in this round include:

  • charging employee EVs – charging EVs that are primarily used by the eligible organisation’s employees to commute to and from work
  • fleet charging – charging EVs owned by the eligible organisation that are primarily used to undertake the activities of the organisation within operating hours
  • destination charging – charging EVs owned by customers or other visitors to an eligible organisation’s premises (for example, to shop, dine or recreate)
  • public charging – chargers that are open to the public at large.

Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Rebate

This program provides financial incentives to purchase zero emission vehicles.

How much is available?

$3,500 rebate for WA residents purchasing a zero emission vehicle.

Overview

The Zero Emission Vehicle (ZEV) Rebate Scheme is a financial incentive to encourage the purchase of zero emission vehicles as part of the government’s Clean Energy Car Fund. Zero emission vehicles are vehicles powered solely by batteries or hydrogen fuel cells that do not emit greenhouse gases.

Hybrid vehicles (including plug-in hybrids) emit greenhouse gases and are therefore not eligible for this scheme.
