SBA Speaker Series Kicks Off
Last Thursday 25th July, the Stirling Business Centre hosted a successful event featuring Charlie Gunningham, the Director of Innovation for the WA Government. With over 30 attendees including Councillor Chris Hatton from the City of Stirling, Charlie’s presentation offered valuable insights into the WA Government’s Innovation Booster Grants and Commercialisation Acceleration Grants, available through the New Industries Fund.
Participants learned about the eligibility criteria and application processes, gaining crucial information to support early-stage startups in Western Australia.
SBA Member John Denton praised the event, saying, “Charlie Gunningham did a great job last night at the SBA Speaker Series event. Informed us extremely well about WA Govt funding opportunities for ‘innovators’.”
Charlie’s detailed discussion on the grants provided attendees with a clearer understanding of how to leverage these opportunities for innovation and commercialisation.
