Member Sundowner – The Sandbar
Expand your network of professional, collaborative and inspiring business owners. Each month the SBA community gets together for a relaxed and friendly evening of professional networking, hosted by a different member each month. Our sundowners offer you the real opportunity to build those valuable connections in business with little formalities and plenty of time for chatting, connecting and sharing stories.
This month, Ben from The Sandbar will be hosting us at the iconic Scarborough Beach for a great night of networking. In recent times our Scarborough small businesses have been impacted with the redevelopment at Scarborough Beach and road closures often meaning patrons are choosing to dine elsewhere. Let’s support these local businesses by continuing to show our love and joining them for a drink and nibble.
Access to Scarborough beach is not as hard as you may think!
Coming from the North
If you’re coming down West Coast Highway, turn right onto Manning Street. Parking is available at the Wilson carpark on the left , otherwise take a left at the roundabout and continue down the one-way Esplanade. Undercover paid parking can be found beneath The Rendezvous Hotel with entry under the Matisse Beach Club. Alternatively, there is free parking further down at Coles (just next to The Sandbar).
Coming from the South
If you’re coming up West Coast Highway you have two options. You can turn left onto Brighton Road and access the car park near Grilld, only a short walk to The Sandbar. Alternatively you can turn left onto Manning Street and park at the Wilson carpark on the left, or follow your way down the one-way Esplanade to either carparks listed above.
Coming from the East (down Scarborough Beach Road)
If you’re coming west down Scarborough Beach Road, turn right at the intersection with West Coast Highway and then take a left onto Manning Street. Parking is available at the Wilson carpark on the left or you can follow your way down the one-way Esplanade to either carparks listed above.
